Close to Grasse, the renowned perfume and soap regional centre, the sandy beaches of Cannes and hilltop villages, including the renowned artist village of St Paul de Vence and the Fondation Maeght.
Set within 8 hectares, spectacular views stretch over landscaped grounds and formal parterre to countryside beyond. Perfectly placed to enjoy Grasse (3km), Cannes (17km) and the coast. Facilities and level of service provided makes this property a unique experience.
The grand salon opens onto the water gardens, with a winter drawing room, library, summer and winter dining rooms and orangerie, offering plenty of space to relax. A ground floor bedroom has independent entrance. A lift gives access to all floors with bedroom and bathrooms en suite, all with air-conditioning.
The original Russell Page water garden features have been meticulously recreated incorporating an enclosed heated swimming pool (12m x 6m) and astro turf tennis court.
What we think: Beautifully restored and immaculately run by well trained staff, this is the place for a really special holiday. Enjoy exploring the acclaimed gardens and grounds covering 20 acres of terraces, woodland and gardens. The most famous part is the water garden designed by Russell Page in the 1950’s and now fully restored.
Swim, play tennis or simply relax and enjoy the view. It’s not far to the coast or the hills but you may never leave the property.
Standard rental is for a maximum of 12 people and an additional 2 young (under 16) can be accommodated free of charge in the junior room that forms part of the green suite
(2 baby cots + 2 changing mats + 2 high chairs + 2 car seats).
All bedrooms have A/C.

We had an amazing time at Domaine St Jacques and we would recommend the villa wholeheartedly. Not only is the house extremely comfortable, with every facility discreetly provided and much attention to detail, but the garden and grounds are wonderful as well, giving a lot of space for everyone. The staff were also absolutely charming and added to the enjoyment of our stay. For our mixed age party (79 years down to 4 years), the comfort of the villa, coupled with the tennis court, pool table, table tennis etc was perfect. It was a great week and we are very grateful to PPA and the owner for making sure everything was perfect for our arrival……………..2018
We have just returned from our stay at Domaine St Jacques du Couloubrier and could not have been more pleased: with the property and with Bruno and David. Bruno is extremely knowledgeable and very, very helpful and fun to be around and the food was great. He makes certain the house guests are well cared for which we found reassuring with 15 people from various countries staying with us. We just returned from our week at Domaine St. Jacques – WOW! This is the fourth property we have rented from Private Prop. over the past years and have always loved each house BUT this one (and I hesitate to call it a house – it was so much more than that) was beyond amazing. I had 5 other couples that I’d invited so was a bit nervous not having seen the house beforehand and to say we were all blown away is an understatement. It is lovely beyond description and the staff of Bruno, Cecile and Patrick were kind, helpful and fun to be with. We will never be able to duplicate the week we had there and want to let you know that you and Priv. Prop. have the best home that exists. We’re telling everyone about it…………………2017
