Domaine du Maquis stands in 25 hectare parkland incorporating a small lake, extensive lawns, an arched winery and barn, terraced olive groves and mature plantings. Restored in traditional Provençal style, the Domaine has an independent Bérgerie guest annexe.
Spacious and comfortable throughout. The imposing stone flagged entrance hall has sweeping stone stairs to a balconied mezzanine landing. The comfortable grand salon with open fireplace has glass doors opening to both garden and courtyard. A library is equipped with roll down cinema screen and surround sound. Spacious and well equipped kitchen leads to a formal dining room. From a back hallway a garden path leads to the independent Bergerie, simpler in style and smaller in size. Well designed bedrooms and large bathrooms are situated over first floor with sitting room and second floor.
Dining and seating terraces enjoy views over the grounds and forested hillsides. An enticing swimming pool (15m x 7m) with extensive shallow end of 1.2m depth, is complete with pool house and auvent shade dining. Only 12km from open all year-round excellent 18-hole golf Le Domaine d’Auriac with Michelin star restaurant.
