Standing within fenced and gated gardens opening directly onto the beach. Situated within the 44 hectares of pine glades, easy biking or walking distance into sophisticated Cap Ferret.
Built in traditional Bassin style, with broad shaded verandas offering views over ever changing tidal waters of the bay. Accommodation is in Villa Isabelle and Guest House, Villa Isabeau. High standards throughout with meticulous design and cool interior furnishings.
What we think: We are perhaps a little biased, but we think this is probably the best house in Cap Ferret. Step from the garden straight onto a sandy beach. Laze in one of the many comfortable garden seats or enjoy the view from the upstairs terrace (there is even an outdoor bath!) We love the interior and style and you’ll enjoy exploring Cap Ferret on a bicycle.
Think old fashioned family seaside holidays with sophisticated restaurants, and a great market. Enjoy oysters direct from the oyster producers, to take away or even better a platter enjoyed on simple wooden tables at the end of their jetties with a glass of white wine – embrace a laidback, yet sophisticated lifestyle. Surf in the ocean or swim in the Bassin d’Arcachon.
Parking is at the side of the house and the side roads are sandy and not suitable for low sports cars – this is one of the few properties in our portfolio where you can really enjoy using bicycles for your local excursions and market trips.

We really enjoyed our week at FR110, the house was lovely and the gardens. Having the sea beside us was great for all especially our little grandson. Laura was very easy and we all enjoyed her meals. Thankfully the weather was good with just a bit of cloud on a few days. A very memorable birthday!!
